An orkut User's Story
Posted on 11:15 AM by Unknown
While we get a kick out of building the orkut site, it's our users that truly make the product. It's those of you that find old friends, make new ones, stay in touch and share your lives on orkut every day that make spending time on orkut so exciting. On our site we offer you the chance to submit your orkut stories to us, and we get some truly amazing ones. This week we'd like to share a story that comes to us from Marta Serrat, an orkut user for the past 3.5 years.
"Along with other orkut users, I used several orkut communities to get people involved in a campaign against violence, impunity, and corruption in Brazil. In 3 weeks, we managed to gather people in 21 cities all over the country, marching on simultaneous parades on 05/21/06. The event became known as the Brazilian Dignity Day."
If you have a story you'd like to share with us please submit it; who knows-- we might even post it on the blog!
