We Googlers tend to take a lot of pride in our cubes, decorating them with photos, souvenirs from trips, stuffed animals, and other fun stuff. Recently the orkut India team received a very exciting delivery which immediately scored a prime spot amongst our decor: an award plaque! Thanks to our loyal and active orkut Indian community, we are proud to announce that orkut won PC World India's Award for the "Best Social Networking Website." We're flattered and proud to have won, especially up against some stiff competition from a half dozen other great sites. The article explains that orkut's simplicity won the judges over: "In terms of user experience it is the easiest to navigate, with its straightforward, uncomplicated and clean interface."
